~Four Seasons in One Day~

Heard of Chrissie, Brekkie, Barbie, Garbie, Hawks, AFL, Dill etc?? At first, I thought my English really suck but then I found out most of them also dont know the exact meaning. Haha, it's their culture. We were all like so blur~~ over there when we were told to answer questions on Australia. Luckily we joined in Yoong's orientation. I learnt so much, making me love Aussie even more than before. I love the food, the places and the ppl. They were really nice and friendly. Helped us out even though we didn't ask for it. "Are you all right?" I was really touched. I mean, not many Malaysians are that way.
An Aussie Chrissie Pressie!

Capital of Australia is : A.Melbourne B.Sydney C.Canberra

There was once Yoongs and I were lost on the way to our hotel. We dropped off at Flagstaff instead of Southern Cross station, thinking that it is nearer. So happen we got 2 free 550g yogurts for free from that station. We walked and walked. Passed by Flagstaff garden, Subway and all, but got lost. Right in CBD, plus we weren't sure whether Harbour View is in Spencer St or Swanston St. We looked up at the map, but still cant figure it out. Omg, we were carrying 2 paper bags from Swinburne, a newspaper, Travel Guide, a knapsack and the yogurts all around. So stupid. I dunno, I just don't feel like asking for help. Later on, a really nice lady asked us whether we need any help on getting our way. I was totally stunned. Turned out that we walked to the wrong street from the start. It took us bout 1 1/2 hours to reach our hotel.

We also met up with lots of ppl from all over the place. Besides Australians, got to know ppl from China, Hong Kong, South Africa, Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia?? @.@ In Aussie, we looked more at the Asians than kls. There are actually many Malaysians who migrated and became pr. Even the receptionist, knew we're from M'sia. He said "One word from the mouth already know" Haha! I was laughing like mad at that moment. Lol, my parents and him talked bout things that are going on in M'sia. Malays, crimes, languages, Malays, work, rise pay, Malays.. He doesn't know what craps are the Malays doing these days. Ppl sure are racist.

Besides that, we went to my mom's friends' house. It was the first time i got to see kl's house for real. The house was like...so BIG!! No locks, no gates, and spacious. She has 2 sons and a husband. One of the sons looked alot alot like Ccy. T.T Just that he is taller, more mature looking, a year older, and knows only English and Japanese. He's studying Japanese at Monash Uni. They really looked alike. =X Mom said to Regina that he's really handsome. Lol!! Wat the hell? Should have taken his photo. Haha! and show his pic to the real Ccy. 95% alike. Get it? I told Ccy bout this. He was saying that I can still rmb him even though I went overseas. Worse still, he was happy coz I can still recognize his face. Lol! Such ass man. Haha! =.=

We bought weekly train ticket (Metlink) to travel around. Dad had been looking up the net to find out bout these train stations, places to visit etc. The ticket can be used for trains, trams and bus. There are boards and signs in every stations. So much nicer than in M'sia and really efficient every time. Heard that trams which are late will be fined. The places we went were Auburn (1 Hampston St), Glenferrie (Residential College), Prahran (Swinburne Uni), Melbourne Central (ChinaTown), Flinders Street (CBD),Southern Cross (Harbour View). We also went to places such as St Kilda, Luna Park, Clayton, Box Hill, College Square, UniLodge, Federation Square, Tourist Shuttle, Flagstaff garden, Mayer etc. Cant recall.

On Saturday, we went to Monash Uni at Clayton. It's the main campus and it's super duper big. Took us bout 2 hours just to reach there. We took from Box Hill Station to South Yarra, and to Clayton Station. (Zone 2) Walked for like 15 mins.. took a bus. and finally.. we reached!! After seeing that campus, I really really want to study at Monash. So many Asians, much 2 my mom's disappointment. Mom keep saying that i'll be studying at monash. Im not too sure bout that. See whether I qualify or not first. Hopefully, I will and IF i can. Study hard to reach my goal~ ^^
On the last day which was on Thursday, we went to Flinders Street. Omg, there's an event ; 20th Pixar Animation. I wanna go!!! My heart was telling myself to tell my dad to go for it. We were soooo close yet so far. Right in front of the building!! Imagine that. But the entrance fee is 10 dollars. That will make up about Rm90 total. Not worth the money to them. Who wants to go to an event to see how they make animation movies. I will be back one day for sure. Dad didn't know how much it really means to me. Lol, my so-called dream is : to work for Dreamworks or Pixar. (21 March 2007) Stupid right? Anywayz, after taking a few pics then we left. Just like that.
Besides that, we went to Mayer for window shopping coz the items there were really expensive. Even when it was on sale. Nothing much. Just like a normal shopping complex. French Connection, Guess, Levi's, Giordanno. Basically that's all I know.
Virgin Store = Tower Records
Hungry Jacks' = Burger King
Connex = Putra
Mayer = Midvalley
Coles = Carrefour
Box Hill = Asians rule
St Kilda = Beach (a must visit)
MX = The Sun

Our food cost bout Rm100 - Rm200 each time. We tried Chinese, Thai, Italian, Japanese, Indonesian, fast food and Australian food. Each portion is really huge so we order one less everytime. What i love most are their pizza and pasta. Their ones are not like ours, and it is way better. Especially at Pizza Piazza. Besides that, I love their sushi. $2.50 for one long piece. Hell right? Will never forget Subway as well. 6' inch long for Italian RMT. Then, there's Sofia Italian Restaurant. That's where i learnt the word risotto and veal. That suck. Of all pasta, I happened to order risotto (rice). I will never eat there again even though that place is a famous family restaurant. What else? I love the Chinese food at Ye Shanghai and Thai bubble tea at Chinatown.

We left M'sia at 9pm on Wednesday and it took bout 7 hours 50 mins to reach Melbourne. Gotta change my time. Fastforward 2 hours. Haha! The first thing I did when i was seated in the plane was checked the entertainment guide. Looked out for movies and songs and albums. So I watched :
1.Disturbia
2.Meet the Robinsons
3.Blades of Glory (halfway)
4.Home Alone.

During our stay at Harbour View, we watched Simpsons, Futurama, Deal or No Deal, Go Go Stop and America's Next Top Model. Then, there's this one channel which shows only movies :
1.X-men 3
2.Aeon Flux
3.Big Mama House
4. Big Daddy.

Thursday (last day) ~ Our flight was delayed for 15 mins, then an hour, and another. till bout 6 hours plus. From 3pm flight, it became 9.40pm flight due to technical prob in the plane. Haha! Not much a prob for me for I just listen to my mp4 and sleep. They compensated us with food voucher $15 each. All the ppl went straight for the nearest cafe, lined up till like I dunno how. Luckily, my parents were fast, they were one of the first few to reach the line. We took 3 pies, 2 pieces of cakes, 2 some kind of bread and a bottle of orange juice. At first, I think they wanna try to fix the problem but cant. Even if it can be fixed, I wouldn’t want to sit it. Scary~ Finally, they had no choice but to find a backup plane from Sydney to fly over to Melbourne. Wth? During the flight, it became really shaky for quite some time and we were notified to put on our sit belts. All the main lights were off and it became very dark. I was damn scared that time, my hands were so cold and my heart was beating really fast. It's like, anything can happen at that moment. I don’t wanna die. I don’t wanna know the feeling of dying. The pilot might lost control, or.. the engine stops all the sudden. I'm exaggerating I know.
1.Shrek the Third
2.Spiderman 3
3.Memoirs of a Geisha ( A+++++ movie)

Reached KLIA at 4.30am Malaysian time. Waited for the bus till 6.30am to KL Central and took the train to Wangsa Maju Station and mom's friend fetched us home from there. With all our luggage.

At Monash Uni, Clayton
Swinburne Uni??

Best food ever!!
